Aarya Automobile will launch Commander E2W at INR 1.60 Lakh


Aarya Commander Electric Motorcycle Teaser as Shared by Society

Gujarat-based Aarya Automobiles will launch the Commander electric motorcycle at an introductory price of INR 1.60 lakh, ex-showroom. Powered by a 4.5 kWh battery, the electric motorcycle will deliver a range of 125 km, noted Tushar Chhabhaya, director of Aarya Automobiles.

He said: “We will manufacture Commander electric motorcycles at our existing factory in Surat, Gujarat. Reservations for the bike will start next month and deliveries will start from February next year.

The company claims to have invested INR 14 crore in setting up this facility and noted that it can manufacture 1,000 electric motorcycles every year. Aarya Group will first sell the motorcycle to Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

The expansion in space of electric three-wheelers is also on the program of the group, which submitted the prototype to ARAI for certification.

Chhabhaya added, “With Aarya, we also want to create employment opportunities in the electric vehicle industry for Indian experts and provide them with a sense of job satisfaction as well as nation-building pride.”
