Auto Detailing Company Opens in Big Sky – Explore Big Sky

After an adventurous day that started with Mountain to Meadow rides and ended with a car camping trip to Taylor Fork with your furry best friend, your car is covered in dirt and dog hair, inside like outside. There are no car washes at Big Sky and the nearest retailer is a short drive from Gallatin-Canyon, or so you would expect.

Matthias Saad, 21, recently started MS Detailing, a Big Sky-based mobile detailing company. Originally from Minnesota, Saad worked in retail for four years, where he rose through the ranks and became a store manager in two years.

Saad started his mobile retail business, MS Detailing, in Minnesota in May before migrating his business to Big Sky in October.

“It was [a successful business in Minnesota], but now it’s an even more successful business here, ”Saad said.

Saad attributes his success to how adventurous Big Sky drivers are with their vehicles, in addition to the fact that there are no local car washes.

“In Montana, I definitely saw more dirt and more animal hair, because everyone has a dog here,” Saad said. “Dirt roads, snow, a lot of people like hiking, biking and adventures. Adventures come with dirty cars.

Saad is working on an interior detail.

The advantages of details, according to Saad, are primarily convenience and superior cleanliness.

“I’m coming to your place which is convenient, you don’t have to drive to Bozeman or anywhere else,” Saad said. “You also don’t have to worry about the car wash scratching your car, because everything is done by hand. “

During the winter season, MS Detailing only does interior detailing and work must be done in a garage. For customers without a garage, Saad uses his own garage at his home in Town Center.

During the warmer months MS Detailing also offers exterior cleanings and includes the option of a ceramic set with everything done outdoors.

Saad said he strives for perfection when it comes to his customers’ cars.

“It takes a lot of meticulous work,” Saad said. “Perfection is what I’m looking for, so it just takes a lot of repetitions, looking for little things, knowing what cleans and what doesn’t. “

Saad’s services are available Monday through Friday. The average interior cleaning takes three to five hours, and a full interior and exterior cleaning takes four to seven hours, depending on the vehicle. The starting price for a domestic retail only is $ 300.

This spring, Saad will change his company name to Detail Doctor and offer weekly subscription packages for purchase.
