Canadian Online Dealer Vehicle Wholesaler Appoints New President – Remarketing



TradeRev’s new president, James Tani, launched TradeRev in Canada in 2011 with co-founders Mark Endras, Wade Chia and Jae Pak. Tani has been an integral part of the company’s rapid growth across the country.

TradeRev, a digital marketplace that facilitates live vehicle sales between dealerships, recently named James Tani as President. He will oversee the strategic growth and development of TradeRev in addition to his Canadian sales leadership role as Executive Vice President of KAR Global Dealer Sales.

TradeRev is a business unit of global wholesale used vehicle digital marketplace operator KAR Global. Tani will report to James Coyle, Chief Digital Officer of KAR Global.

Tani began her career working in the retail and wholesale sectors of the automotive industry for 15 years. In 2011, with co-founders Mark Endras, Wade Chia and Jae Pak, he launched TradeRev in Canada. Tani has been integral to the company’s rapid growth across the country as Executive Vice President of Sales for TradeRev. After merging the ADESA and TradeRev sales teams under KAR Global to better serve customers with a combined wholesale offering, he was appointed to his current role as Executive Vice President of Dealer Sales for KAR Global. . Tani succeeds Endras who has transitioned to lead KAR Global’s product pipeline as Senior Vice President of Products and also reports to Coyle.

Tani earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Finance from Concordia University. He is based at TradeRev’s head office in Toronto, Ontario.

TradeRev users can complete an entire transaction within the app, including inspection, title and arbitration services, live instant offers during appraisal, floor plan financing and transportation.
