Free2move offers a car-sharing service in 170 countries – Fleet acquisition

The car-sharing company continues its global expansion, adding more vehicles and mobility hubs in the United States and Europe.

car sharing company Free2move today has more than 450,000 vehicles available in 170 countries.

At Free2move, 44% of all reservations are for a week or more, and 16% of reservations are created for long weekends, according to the company. In May, it recorded a 22% increase in bookings compared to April.

Free2move has established mobility hubs across Europe and the United States, with rental vehicles available by the minute, week or month. Once rented, the vehicles can be taken wherever the customer wishes, with a default of 250 kilometers per day, according to the company.

And we are dedicated to growth and expansion – through our recent acquisition of Opel Rent, for example, we have expanded our fleets and the cities in which our services are offered. The summer months are traditionally travel months, and we know that Free2move Rent will provide the best vehicle access options for our customers.

For customers traveling to the United States this summer, Jeep Renegades or Jeep Compasses are available. In Europe, Free2move customers will find several vehicle options depending on the country, including Peugeot 108, Peugeot 208, Citroën C4, Opel Corsa, Opel Mokka, Peugeot 3008 and Citroën Spacetourer.
