The updated Lexus NX is the latest vehicle from the Japanese automaker to be available with a number of parts from Toyota Racing Development (TRD).
Kicking off the upgrades pipe is a unique front spoiler that adds some aggressiveness to the SUV’s fairing. TRD also states that this chin spoiler performs an aerodynamic function, which improves steering response.
Complementing this new front spoiler, new exterior mirror caps and elongated side skirts both contribute to the aerodynamics while adding a new sense of style to the NX. A pronounced diffuser has also been developed and can be paired with a sports exhaust system with four tailpipes.

Lexus NX owners who want their vehicles to stand out even more can also opt for a 20-inch forged aluminum wheel set with an intricate spoke design and metallic finish. They also weigh less than standard wheels, which helps reduce unsprung mass.
Elsewhere, TRD has developed front and rear performance shocks that help reduce noise and vibration. Base reinforcements are also available.
Our own Michael Gauthier recently had the opportunity to test drive the Lexus NX 2022 in the US and found it to be a significant improvement over the old model. The most significant improvements are inside the NX, where there is a cluster of semi-digital gauges and a touchscreen available in 9.8 and 14 inch formats.
