The first export shipment of 125 Renault-Nissan cars in 25 New Modified Goods coaches was dispatched on Wednesday from Singaperumal Koil station in Ramgarhwa, Bihar (2,244 km), which is closer to the Nepalese border.
The export consignment was transported to Nepal on behalf of Joshi Konoike Transport and Infrastructure, a logistics company that regularly provides freight traffic activities to railways, both for outbound traffic and for traffic. entering.
Renault – Nissan has promised to increase the rail share of its transport from 20 to 35%. This will improve the Chennai division’s auto loading capacity in the coming days, according to a press release from SR.
Singaperumal Koil can be found in the Chennai Egmore – Villupuram section while two other car loading points – Walajahbad and Melpakkam – can be found in the Chennai – Bengaluru section.
Singaperumal Koil Station is located near several automobile factories in the Chennai Chengalpattu-Kanchipuram area and has been developed as an automobile hub by the Chennai division, a press release from SR said.
