Tata Safari with a custom interior looks premium

Tata Motors is one of the leading car manufacturers in India and Safari is currently their flagship model in the market. The Safari, as we all know, is based on its popular 5-seater Harrier SUV. Tata Safari has quickly become a popular choice among buyers due to its looks, price and legendary Safari name. Tata offers a decent number of features with the SUV, but it’s probably not the most feature-laden SUV in its class. In order to make it look much more premium, there are several aftermarket accessories available for Tata Safari in the market. Here we have one of those videos where a Tata Safari SUV has been modified to GT Line.

The video was uploaded by Rohit Mehta Sai Auto Accessories on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks about all the changes or modifications that have been done to the SUV. The SUV seen here in the video is not a premium variant. The car has been modified both externally and internally. Starting at the front, the Safari gets an aftermarket bumper kit installed on it. This gives the SUV a much more muscular look from the front. The headlights of this Safari have also been improved. The SUV now gets HID projectors for the low beams and LED units for the high beams. The fog lights are also LED.

A Safari nickname is also placed on the hood. Regarding the side profile, the SUV now takes a side step. The running board is finished in two-tone. The ORVMs are blacked out from the factory but the pillars are now wrapped in black. The roof takes on body color and the massive panoramic sunroof is also visible. Other than that, no major changes have been made to the exterior of the car. When moving in, the car came with cloth seats and factory door cushions as it was a lower variant. Everything has been replaced and customized to look premium or like a higher variant.

The fabric of the door panels has been replaced by leather upholstery. The cabin receives brown leather upholstery which is inspired by the higher variants of Safari or Harrier. The steering wheel of the SUV was wrapped in leather. Cloth seat covers in SUVs have been replaced with custom seat covers with a custom pattern. The fit and finish of the seat covers are good. The Safari comes with a touchscreen infotainment system and it has been retained, but now gets active ambient lights installed on the door and dashboard. Light brightness and color can be controlled using a mobile app.

All windows and windshields of the SUV have been wrapped with transparent heat-resistant films. Apart from this, the speakers installed on this SUV have also been upgraded for a premium experience. Tata Safari is available with a diesel engine option only. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that generates 170 hp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The SUV is offered with manual and automatic transmission.
